The Incredible Journey chapter 7

In this chapter the cat is no longer there to accompany the two dogs because it found a new home and would not want to risk dying in the search of the Hunter family. As the dogs carry on the younger dog, Luath does not have the skills to hunt but towards the end he becomes hungry enough that he would eat a porcupine. On their journey they pass by a field when a farmer becomes angry at them Luath and the old dog Bodger would stand their ground. The farmer would come with a dog, a black dog and the two young dogs would fight and so Bodger would watch. At the end of the fight it seems that the black is winning because of it's experience but at last Bodger would help Luath and knock the black dog away. Later on Luath would find another porcupine and would want to repaet what he had already did earlier on in his journey so he approached it and WHAP right the face the porcupine hit Luath and the porcupine ran away and so Luath has spike in his face. The Incredible Journey Chapter 6

In this chapter they continue their journey and come across a barn with a river that is right next to it. Beside this barn lives a finnish family with one child. She is all alone. She has no friends within a mile of her house and has to play by herself. When the dogs come along (the cat was drifted away in the river), the family takes care of them. The cat is still in the river and comes across the family. The father of the family saves the cat for his daughter's sake. They revived the cat by letting it drink milk and beurbon. After that they heated him up in up in the oven. I think that it is weird to stick a living creature in the oven. The cat would be okay and the little girl would not be alone. To Be Continued

The Incredible Journey chapter 5

In this chapter they all survive once again.
I like it though, because they meet humans for the first time since they left the house. Thw humans are friendly and they decide to feed the pets. This chapter I feel that the pets got lucky and would not have survived if not for the humans.

The Incredible Journey chapter 4

In chapter 4 the trio move along steadily in the wilderness to the pace of the slowest one. At one point the cat tries eating deer poop. But they all survived wich I think makes the story a little more interesting. This is one of the better chapters for me because it shows that the dogs and cat can get along and help each other to survive.

The incredible Journey chapters 1,2,3

It all starts with three pets 2 dogs and one cat. This story takes place in northern Ontario during the indian summer.Their owner is John Longbridge. He goes hunting and while he's gone a sitter would come to watch them instead of putting them in a harsh kennel. The sitter who is ms. Oakes comes a little tardy and while she wasn't there the pets left for an incredible journey.
They would all go a long way. They were just about starved when the cat caught a squirrel and ate for himself. A little later the dogs would find some food too. While one was more agile and young he was more capable of catching food but he would help the older dog too. The old dog would find a water filled rut. While he was there he saw a bear, a cub actually and they had a fight but the dog won. The mother came and the pets ran away hiding. To Be Continued......
